This tour is 1 hour away from San Jose downtown and just 15 minutes away from Turrialba downtown in a magycal private rainforest reserve.
This activity has several stops such as: descend of 4 alternate waterfalls with 4 canopy cables, descend of leafy trees through ropes, and the trip over a hammock bridge of 132 feet length. This tour takes approximately from 3 to 4 hours, with lunch included after the trip.
We provide our visitors with specialized equipment and an impermeable jacket for this tour in special. It is important to bring clothes and shoes, however, to change at the end of the trip.
Our canyoning site is located at Calle Chirraca, a modest, yet lush place near the town of Turrialba, which is an hour and a half from San Jose east side. We begin the canyoning tour with an introduction of our guides and the equipment to help familiarize you with the different uses of the tools. We start the tour at the first waterfall, where a guide will give a short speech on safety. They will go over the course and the equipment making sure you know the necessary mechanisms and procedures for canyoning, ensuring a safe and fun experience.
